The MAST Centre is running 2-day courses in hysteroscopy and laparoscopy, which is primarily intended for SHOs and Specialist Registrars in gynaecology. However, the Hysteroscopic Courses may be useful for nursing staff who wish to know how to run and set up an out-patient hysteroscopy clinic. Both the courses may also be useful for Consultants and Associate Specialists and Staff Grade who wish to have exposure to minimal access surgery and/or improve their manual dexterity.

Our experience shows that due to the intensive educational content of the 2-day hysteroscopy and laparoscopy courses, it is generally not recommended to attend both courses in one week.
We would suggest spacing the 2 courses apart by at least 2 months.
Course Leaders:-
Prof. Janesh Gupta, Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, RCOG and MATTUS preceptor to Levels III in Hysteroscopic and Laparoscopic Surgery, Director of the MAST Centre.
Mr. Rajesh Varma, Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Guy's and St. Thomas's University Hospital, London.
We also have a faculty of 16 gynaecological Minimal Access Surgeons within the West Midlands who will be course tutors.
